Urban Bourbon Half Marathon

🥃 Race Overview

The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile experiential destination event that celebrates and promotes 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky distilling history. It starts and finishes in downtown Louisville and winds through the fall foliage of one of Louisville’s most scenic parks, Cherokee Park.

🎽 Participant Perks

• Shirt: Participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt.
• Medal: A unique bourbon-themed medal is included.
• Post-Race Bash: Entry into the post-race Urban Bourbon Bash, recognized as one of the best half marathon after-parties in the country by Runners’ World magazine.
• Food & Drinks: Attendees will enjoy bourbon samples, beer, and hot food including Kentucky burgoo.

👟 Participation Guidelines

Walkers may participate but must be able to keep an 18:00 minute per mile pace as the course will close at 12 p.m.

📅 Registration Details

• Age Requirement: Since the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is meant for those age 21 or older, you must be 21 or older on Oct. 18, 2025, to register.
• Online Closure: Online registration will close at 7:59 pm on Oct. 17, 2025.
