West Rowan Bible Teaching Association 5K and Fun Run!

Location: West Rowan Elementary School - 480 Mimosa Street, Cleveland, NC 27013

Proceeds

• Support: All proceeds will go to support the West Rowan Bible Teaching Association (WRBTA).
• Mission: The WRBTA is a 100% community funded nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise funds to provide the support necessary for the Bible classes in our West Rowan area schools.

Date and Registration

• Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
• Race Day Registration & Check-In: 8:00 – 8:45 a.m at West Rowan Elementary.
• Fees: 5K race-day registration is $35. Fun Run race-day registration is $20.

Race Schedule

• 5K Run/Walk: 9:00 a.m.
• Fun Run: 10:15 a.m.

Awards

• 5K Awards: Top three overall male and female winners will receive a prize and a medal.
• Age Group Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group male and female will receive a medal.
• Cash Prizes: 1st place male overall - medal plus $50 cash and $50 gift card: 1st place female overall - medal plus $50 cash and $50 gift card: 2nd place male overall - medal and $50 cash: 2nd place female overall - medal and $50 cash: 3rd place male overall - medal and $25 cash: 3rd place female overall - medal and $25 cash.

5K Age Groups

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

Fun Run Awards

• Ages Eligible: Ages 12 & under are eligible.
• All Participants: All participants will get a medal.
• Award Distribution: Awards will be presented race day immediately after the Fun Run. No awards will be mailed. Participants must complete the race to receive an award.

Shirts

• T-Shirts: Short-sleeve T-shirts for preregistered runners.
• Guarantee: T-Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by April 1.
• Availability: Available to others on race day as supplies last.

Course Details

• Start/Finish: The race starts and ends at West Rowan Elementary.
• Route: Course will use downtown Cleveland, including the historic Main Street area.
• Course Type: The course is flat and fast!!
