Come join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC for this great inclusive event for people of ALL ABILITIES! Let’s Get Moving for a great event and get all bodies in motion. Proceeds support the work of KennedyStrong Foundation. Event is RAIN or SHINE.
🌟 New Features for 2025
- Voting Contest: A community-driven contest where participants can choose their favorite design for this year’s official event T-shirt.
- Commemorative Bib: An exciting commemorative bib for all 5k participants.

- Registration: Register by Friday, September 6th to be guaranteed a shirt: supplies after this date are first come first serve.
📅 Race Day Schedule
Race Day Packet Pickup opens at 8:00am. Join us from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be a DJ and activities for all.
- 8:00 a.m.: Event site opens.
- 9:00 a.m.: Buddy Run starts.
- 9:30 a.m.: 5K starts.
- 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.: Decathlon Activity Adventure course open as an alternative to the run/walk events.
- Virtual 5K: For those who cannot attend in person but want to participate where they are.
🏆 Awards and Recognition
There will be 5k awards given to overall top 3 male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-15, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, and 71 and up. Awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in the Decathlon and for each Decathlon Station. Awards will be given to the top three male and female Fun Run finishers.
5k runners and Decathlon participants will receive a bag, shirt, and giveaway items. Note: Virtual Runners will not be eligible for awards.
📍 Packet Pickup and Parking
- Packet Pick Up: Thursday, September 18th at the West Cabarrus YMCA in Afton Village from 6pm to 8pm.
- Parking: This is a 'shuttle to destination' event. Those with special needs can receive a parking pass at packet pickup.
