Description: Join us on a Sunday afternoon for an early season 5K run and one mile walk. This is a family-friendly community event to celebrate health, wellness, and physical fitness.
Course: The 5K course is USATF certified and endorsed by the Governor's Council for Physical Fitness through the Michigan Fitness Foundation.
Route: The race begins near the entrance of Legacy Field at Greenville High School and follows a scenic course along the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail.
Finish Line: The return takes runners through nearby neighborhoods and the campus of Montcalm Community College with an exciting finish through the tunnel onto Legacy Field and across the south 30 yard line of the high school football field.
Beneficiary
Proceeds: Benefits the Education Foundation of Greenville.
Support: Funds health and wellness initiatives at Greenville Public Schools, including mental health support.
Packet Pick Up
Time: Available on race day starting at 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM.
Race Start: The race starts at 2:00 PM.
Shirts: Limited shirts available, register early!
Awards
Trophies: Given to 5K Overall Male, Overall Female, Masters Male, Masters Female.
Medals: Awarded to the top 3 in each age group (male/female): 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
Walk: The walk is non-competitive and untimed.
Entry Fees
5K Run/Walk: $30 until April 17th: $35 from April 18th to April 25th, very limited shirts: $40 on race day, very limited or no shirts available.
1 Mile Walk: $25 until April 25th: $30 on race day, very limited or no shirts available.
Safety Information
Restrictions: No dogs, bicycles, scooters or rollerblades are permitted.
Strollers: Welcome, please start at the back of the event.
