• Nature-Based Experiences: Zachariah's Acres hosts nature-based experiences for children with special needs and their families.
• Signature Events: Families create life-long memories, enhance social skills, strengthen family relationships, and simply relax in nature.
• Favorite Activities: Activities include fishing, guided nature walks, sleigh rides, apple picking, and cooking in our educational kitchen.
• Community Engagement: More than 38 schools, nonprofits, and community partners visit regularly for educational field trips and hands-on learning.

The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout.
