Quiet Silence 50k

🌟 Event Overview

• Date: 12/5 at 7pm
• Duration: You’ll have 8 hours to complete this out and back 50k on the Glacial Drumlin State Trail.
• Location: Starting at Rotary Park in Lake Mills and turning around at the Western terminus in Cottage Grove.
• Trail Type: Mostly flat, crushed gravel trail.

• Community Respect: Our relationship with the cities we travel through and the DNR are highly protected.
• Local Path: We are thankful to have this all-season, multi-use path here locally.
• Respectful Use: We will adhere to the highest respect for everyone involved who maintains the trail.

🥳 Race Logistics

• Drop Bag: One unsupported drop bag is allowed on the way out, set at an outdoor pavilion roughly 8 miles from the start.
• Halfway Point: The halfway mark of the 50k is your turnaround point, where warm food and snacks will be provided.
• Timing: The event is clock-timed with awards for the top 3 Female and Male finishers.
• Mindfulness: It’s Quiet out and Silence on the way back— a reminder to be mindful of the sleeping communities we travel through.
