Tempo Run Timing &: Events is pleased to co-host, along with the North Township Trustee's Office, the 5th Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta 5K at Wicker Memorial Park in Highland, Indiana.

Tempo Run Timing &: Events is dedicated to continuing to expand the running community in Northwest Indiana with unique and memorable events. Our mission is to sponsor, host, and direct fun, interactive events while making lasting memories for both runners and walkers alike.

Fiesta 5k

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta 5k includes:

• Music: Starting at 11:00 am to get you ready to run!
• T-shirt: Official Fiesta 5k 2026 T-shirt
• Free Beverage: 1 Free Beer (21+)/Beverage after the race!
• Food: Taco bar catered by Boss Man Tacos - Free for all participants

This race will be professionally timed by Tempo Run Timing. Results will be available on the website shortly after the finish.

Lit'l Churro Run 1k (ages 4-12)

Lit'l Churro Run includes:

• Music: Starting at 11:00 am to get you ready to run!
• T-shirt: Official Lit'l Churro Run 2026 T-shirt
• Churro: 1 free Churro hot and ready, waiting for you at the finish line!
• Food: Taco bar catered by Boss Man Tacos - Free for all participants

This is a fun run and will not be timed.

0.0 Mile "Run"

Not much of a runner? We got just the thing for you! All the fun, without the run. Grab your race bib, toe the starting line, then skip right to the best part... the after party!

Cinco de Mayo 0.0 Mile "Run" includes:

• Music: Starting at 11:00 am to get you ready to (not) run!
• Experience: A unique start/finish line experience like no other race
• Magnet: "0.0" magnet for your car (or wherever you’d like to proudly display your achievement)
• Food: Taco bar catered by Boss Man Tacos - Free for all participants

Prizes for Top 3 Overall M/F (chosen at random).

Early Packet Pickup

WHEN: Saturday May 2nd, 12pm-2pm

Schedule for Event Day

• 10:45 am - 11:45 am: Packet pick-up
• 11:30 am: Lit'l Churro Run (1k for ages 4-12)
• 11:50 am: 0.0 Mile "Run"
• 12:00 pm: 5k Run/Walk

Post Race Fiesta: Music and Food/Drinks at the Pavilion.

Kids are welcome to participate in the 5k if they can handle the distance!
