Join us by participating in this unique 5K race that lets you bring along your best friend – your dog!

Event Details

• Date: Sunday, June 7
• Location: Bay City Community Center, 800 John F. Kennedy Dr, Bay City, MI 48706
• Time: Packet pickup begins at 7 a.m. with an 8 a.m. race start
• Registration Fee: $30 before May 30, $40 after May 30

Race Features

• T-shirts: Racers can elect to purchase a race t-shirt
• Goodies: Participants will receive other goodies during race day
• Timing: Although this is a fun run/walk, the race is timed
• Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the male and female categories

Dog Policy

• Dog Friendly: This is a dog-friendly event, and you will be racing with dogs on the course
• Leashing Requirement: All dogs must be leashed
• Participation: You do not need a dog to participate in this 5K
• Purpose: The race supports survivors of violence, raising awareness and funds for pet boarding costs

Mission

Through this race, it is our mission to give hope to survivors of violence by raising awareness, engaging in education with the community, and providing funds to support the boarding costs for pets. All funds raised through this event support the Judy V Spencer Fund held at the Bay Area Women':s Center to cover boarding costs for survivors seeking shelter with their pet.
