Event Overview

Run, walk, stroll, or dance at the E.D. Locke Public Library's 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash.

Participation Options

Kids' Obstacle Dash @ 8:30 a.m.

• Event Description: Children may register for a fun obstacle run down Milwaukee St. Dash through bubbles, skip between cones, limbo, and more!
• Inclusions: Each registered participant will receive a hat and medal.
• Parents: May join in at no additional cost.

Kids' Obstacle Dash with 1/4 Mile Run @ 8:30 a.m.

• Challenge: This year we are offering a challenge for our older children participants.
• Event Format: They can add a 1/4 mile run to their obstacle dash, starting with a run around the library followed by a lap through our obstacle course.
• Inclusions: Each registered participant will receive a hat and medal.
• Parents: May join in at no additional cost.

5K Run/Walk @ 9:00 a.m.

• Event Type: Lace up your shoes and run, walk, or dance your way through the course.
• Inclusions: Each participant will receive a baseball hat, bib, professional timing, and more.
• Allowed: Strollers and dogs are allowed.

Virtual 5K Run/Walk

• Flexibility: Run or walk at your own time by choosing our virtual option.
• Pickup: You will be able to pick up your baseball hat and bib during packet pick up or after the event at the library.

Proceeds

All proceeds from the event support the programming at the E.D. Locke Public Library.
