Evan Kratochwill Memorial 2 Mile Run/Walk

Join us for a community 2 mile cross country run/walk taking place at Glacier Creek Middle School as a part of the annual 2026 Evan Kratochwill Memorial Invitational hosted by Middleton High School. The races are put on by Middleton High School XC in honor of Evan Kratochwill, who passed away tragically in the fall of 2021. Evan was a former student at GCMS and at MHS, as well as a team member of the Middleton Cross Country team.

Parking Information

Participants should park in the GCMS parking lot in front and side of the school. The back lot (by the basketball hoops) we are reserving for athletes, volunteers, and buses. Parking lot and traffic flow information can be viewed here.

Packet Pickup

• Friday Night: 5-6 PM at GCMS (by the 5th grade wing/gym)
• Cost: $35
• Race Day Pickup: Begins at 6:30 AM
• Registration Cost: $35 on race day

REGISTER by September 23rd for a guaranteed shirt. We will have a limited number of extra shirts at in-person registration.

We will have live results and on site courtesy of Prime Time Timing with a jumbo electronic Big Board at the finish line! We appreciate the generosity of the participants this year and last year who donated towards this event. Proceeds and donations go directly towards course maintenance, race day logistics and enhancements into the Evan Kratochwill Memorial Races (community, middle school, high school), and towards the Middleton High School Cross Country programs.
