🏃♂️ Event Overview
Join us for a community 2 mile cross country run/walk taking place at Glacier Creek Middle School as a part of the annual 2025 Evan Kratochwill Memorial Invitational hosted by Middleton High School.
- Date: October 4, 2025
- Time: 7:45 AM for the race
- Location: Glacier Creek Middle School, Cross Plains, WI
- Purpose: Honoring Evan Kratochwill, a former student and Middleton Cross Country team member.
🏅 Awards and Recognition
We will have an awards ceremony for the community race. That will take place near 8:25.
🚗 Parking Information
Participants should park in the GCMS parking lot in front and side of the school. The back lot (by the basketball hoops) we are reserving for athletes, volunteers, and buses.

📅 Packet Pickup and Registration
We will have packet pickup on Friday night at GCMS from 5-6 PM (on the far side by the 5th grade wing/gym). Participants can sign up as well from 5-6 pm. Cost is $30.
- Friday Pickup: 5-6 PM at GCMS
- Saturday Registration: Starts at 6:30 AM
- Cost: $30 on race day
- Deadline: Register by September 24th for a guaranteed shirt.

- Course Map: 2 Mile XC Course Map
- Course Marking: One mile will be clearly marked.
- Live Results: Provided by Prime Time Timing.
- Finish Line: Jumbo electronic Big Board for results.
💡 Additional Information
We appreciate the generosity of the participants this year and last year who donated towards this event. Proceeds and donations go directly towards course maintenance, race day logistics and enhancements into the Evan Kratochwill Memorial Races (community, middle school, high school), and towards the Middleton High School Cross Country programs.
