Our second annual charity 5K will be held on June 28, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna NJ and all proceeds will go to John Bauer aka JOHN BEAR.
👶 About John Bear
- Birth Date: December 17, 2020.
- Initial Diagnosis: Diagnosis with Infantile Spasms in August 2021.
- Genetic Disorder: Diagnosed with a COL4A1 mutation (Gould Syndrome).
- Medical Journey: Underwent surgeries and experienced ongoing medical challenges.
📍 Race Details
- Registration: Starts at 7:00 am by the Imagination Station in Horseshoe Lake.
- Course Certification: USATF-NJ certified (#NJ25010MNS) and sanctioned event.
- Post Race Celebration: Includes a petting zoo, bagels, coffee, cold beverages, and music.
- Awards: Given to the top 3 Male and Female runners.
💵 Entry Fees
- Price: $30.00.
- Children: 10 and under are free. No registration required for them.
- Strollers: Welcomed at the event.
- Shirts: Given to the first 250 registrants.
