🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us to honor Rockcastle County’s first responders at The Emergency Mile. If you are an experienced runner, this is your chance to test your speed on a nearly level one-mile course. If you’re new to run/walks, this is the perfect way to start – with a less challenging distance. Either way, you are honoring those in our county that we could not do without.

• First Responders: Rockcastle County first responders participate FREE!
• Kids: Kids age 4-12 run FREE (no shirt included).

📅 Event Details

• Start Time: Event begins 1 Mile Run/Walk at 6:00 p.m. EST
• Check In: Check in/packet pickup at 5:00 p.m.
• Registration Fee: $20, includes event t-shirt if registered by Monday, April 28. (After April 28, shirts are limited).
• Free Entry: Free registration for Rockcastle County first responders! (Police, Sheriff, Jail Employees, Fire Department, and Ambulance Services)

🏆 Awards

• Overall Winners: Overall male and female race winner
• Top Runners: Top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12-under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70-79: 80+
• Fastest Walkers: Top three fastest male and female walkers
• Special Award: Fastest first responder, male and female
