The Bob Burns Memorial 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us on July 20th, 2025 at the Augusta Rail Trail at 31 Union Street for The 12th Annual Bob Burns Memorial 5K to raise money and awareness for The National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) for brain tumor research AND local families living with a brain tumor. Registration table opens at 6:30 AM, race starts at 8 AM. Prior to race will be a dance for a warm up and guest speakers. The race will go along the beautiful paved Kennebec River Rail Trail. We welcome walkers, runners, strollers, and dogs on leashes. Sign up individually or as a team! Help us fundraise by allowing people to donate to you right through this site. Raise $100 and get a free race shirt. Can't make it? Register for a virtual run or walk!

🥇 Awards

After the race medals will be awarded to: 1st and 2nd place for adult male, adult female, youth male, youth female.

💰 Fundraising and T-Shirt Details

Please help us fundraise! T-Shirts are $20.00 - however if you raise $100.00 per person, you will be rewarded a free shirt! Kelly will need to be contacted once you reach these milestones at KellysCause@hotmail.com.

🎟️ Registration Fees

• Children 5 and under: Free
• Ages 6-17: $15.00
• 18+: $25.00 until June 1st
• 18+: $30.00 June 1st - July 19th
• 18+: $40.00 day of event
• Teams of 3 or more: $20.00 a person
