🏃‍♂️ Race Announcement

• Event: Babcock Ranch is excited to announce our 4th of July 5K Run/Walk.
• Course: The course is a scenic 3.1 miles around Babcock Ranch, starting and finishing in Founder's Square.

👕 Important Dates

• Shirt Cutoff: The shirt cutoff date is June 20, 2025. Shirts ARE NOT guaranteed after this date. Any extra shirts will be available after the race.
• Early Registration: Register by June 15, 2025 to beat the price increase.

📅 Packet Pickup

• Early Packet Pickup: Wednesday, July 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, July 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Pickup Location: Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.

🚗 Race Day Information

• Race Day Parking: Free ample parking is available near the starting area.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. at 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Race Day Registration: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m., cost is $40.00.
• Race Start Time: 7:30 a.m.

🍏 Post-Race Amenities

• Snacks: Post-race snacks are available after the race.
• Facilities: Bathrooms and Water Stations will be located at the start and finish areas, and the water stop will also be at the halfway mark.

🏆 Awards

• Age Group Awards: Age group awards are based on official chip time.
• Overall Awards: There will be overall awards and finisher medals.
• Pickup Responsibility: If you don't stay for your award, you are responsible for coordinating with Babcock Ranch of when you will pick it up.

• Pets: Are dogs allowed on the course? You may run with your dog, but you assume ALL responsibility for your dog. Your pet must be leashed at all times and up to date on vaccinations.
