🏃‍♂️Pine Island Calusa Trail 5K Run and Walk - 2026

2026 Entry will open in late summer 2025.

📅Event Information

• Family Friendly: This is a family and pet friendly walk/run.
• Unique Course: The course includes approximately one mile of the Calusa Heritage Trail, which may have some bumps and mud depending on the weather.
• Scenic View: Participants will climb steps to the top of the Randell mound for one of the prettiest views on the island.
• Neighborhood Streets: The remainder of the event will be along quiet neighborhood streets.

• Medals: We are also providing participant medals!
• Race Tech Shirts: Guaranteed to participants who register by January 1, 2026.
• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be available.
• Awards: Post-race awards will begin at approximately 9:15 am.

💰Event Proceeds

Event proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island and the children's programs at the Calusa Heritage Trail.

Parking and race staging are at Alden Pines Clubhouse, 14261 Clubhouse Drive, Bokeelia, FL 33922.

📅Packet Pick-Up and Registration

• Date and Time: Thursday, Jan 29 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Century 21 on Pine Island, 10191 Stringfellow Rd, St James City, FL 33956.
• Race Day Pick Up: Begins at 7 am at the event.
• Registration: Race day registration is available by the participant's cellular device only.
• Connectivity: Consider registering prior to the event to avoid potential connectivity issues.

📜Refund Policy

This event is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Pine Island. If the event is canceled due to weather and cannot be rescheduled, or if you cannot attend following registration, all registration fees will be considered a donation to the Club.
