- In-Person Race: Sunday, June 1, 2025 – Glastonbury Hubbard Green (8:30 a.m.)
- Event: The Glastonbury Education Foundation 5K Run/Walk (GEF5K) is a rebranding of the Bill Landers Building Bridges Memorial Hybrid 5K Run/Walk (BL5K), which the Foundation has sponsored in Glastonbury, Connecticut, since 2008.
- Format: The 17th annual event will only feature an in-person race.
- Location: The race will begin at Hubbard Green, Glastonbury, and travel along the former BL5K route with bib chip timing.
🏅 Event Features
- Sanctioning: The race is sanctioned and serves as a qualifier for the Manchester Road Race.
- Parking: Parking for the race will be available at Glastonbury High School, 330 Hubbard Street in Glastonbury.
- Scholarships: Proceeds from the GEF5K will be used to award scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to a graduating senior of Glastonbury High School who attends a public or private four-year university in Connecticut.
