History of the Event

• Community Tradition: The race is part of the annual White Mills Days festival.
• Scenic Route: Participants will run through the picturesque White Mills community.
• Historic Location: The race starts and ends by the White Mills Post Office.
• Special Features: The course includes a crossing over the old truss bridge built in 1899.

Awards

• Top Finishers: The top three male and female finishers will receive awards and cash prizes ($75, $50, $25).
• Age Group Medals: Medals will be awarded to first and second place male/female finishers in various age groups.
• Local Legends: A special award for the first male/female Hardin County residents to finish.
• Age Groups: Categories include 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.

Entry Fees

• Online Registration: $20 until August 14, 2026.
• Race Day Registration: $25 from 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM.
• Group Discount: $5 rebate for groups of 8 or more at check-in.
• Guaranteed T-Shirt: Free race t-shirt until July 30, 2026.

• Time: Packet pickup on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM.
• Location: At the race start area.
• Raffle Tickets: Available for $2.50 each at packet pickup.
• Prize Draw: Three prizes will be drawn during the award presentation following the race.
