The 2026 TEF Tenafly 5K Run and Dog Walk
Join us as we celebrate the 28th TEF Tenafly 5K Run & Dog Walk on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Event Highlights
- USATF-sanctioned Race: This 5K Run is one of the largest in North Jersey, attracting over 1,500 runners.
- Dog Participation: More than 100 dogs, along with their owners, will run the same 5K course.
- Family-friendly Events: Includes a 1-mile Fun Run for all ages, Tiger Cub runs for the 6-and-under crowd, and inflatable bounce houses.
- Registered Participants: All receive a t-shirt, a goodie-filled tote bag, and medals for finishers!
Health & Fitness Fair
- Fair Activities: Meet our sponsors, enjoy snacks and drinks, and get your face painted.
- Volunteers: Our eager volunteers are ready to make this your favorite event of the year!
Supporting Education
- Proceeds: All proceeds support the Tenafly Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- Funding Programs: Grants support teacher-initiated programs in Tenafly public schools.
- Diverse Array of Programs: Including chromebooks, smartboards, digital photography, and robotics.
- Fundraising Success: The event raised over $50,000 in 2025 and more than $850,000 since 1999.
