New Location - Due to construction at Holmes Lake Park, the 2025 event will be at Mahoney Park on 8/16.

🎖️What is a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk?

• Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001.
• Honor: Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty.

📏Distance of the Event

• Length: This is a 5K (3.1 miles). You are welcome to walk or run this event.

🕒Registration Information

• Best Time: The best time to register is always RIGHT NOW. Registration prices increase at set intervals.
• Event T-shirt: Your registration fee includes a T2T Lincoln event T-shirt, but t-shirts are not guaranteed for race day registrations. Register by July 28th to ensure you receive one.

👶Age Limit

• Inclusion: There is no age limit. All are welcome!

🚗Parking Information

• Availability: There is ample parking available at Mahoney Park at the parking lots along Elton Lux Memorial Drive.

📦Packet Pick-Up

• Early Pick-Up: We will have early packet pick-up at Mahoney Park on the day of the event and will host a packet pickup on Friday, August 15th.
• Details: The early pick-up location is TBD but will be announced via email no later than Wednesday, August 13th.

👤Packet Collection

• Authorization: Yes, someone else can pick up your packet for you with a copy of your registration receipt.

🏅Bib Number Requirement

• Display: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Those without a bib will be asked to leave.

⏱️Event Timing

• Timing: No official timing will be provided, but there will be a clock at the finish line.

💧Water and Hydration

• Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route and at the start/finish.
• Advice: Please hydrate before the event and bring water with you if necessary.

🍔Food Availability

• Options: Yes! We are working with local food trucks and vendors to provide food and snacks on-site at the event.

👜Personal Items

• Responsibility: You will be responsible for all personal belongings. Please secure items you do not want to run/walk with in your vehicle.

🛒Allowed Mobility Aids

• Permitted: You can participate with a stroller, wheelchair, and/or backpack. No roller blades, bicycles, or pets.

👕Dress Code

• Comfort: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We encourage everyone to wear patriotic colors and carry flags.
• Uniforms: Military and first responders are encouraged to wear gear/uniforms.

• Mission: Funds raised support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller.
