Race Overview

These 2 Great Runs are presented by Don's Friends and benefit 2 Great Charities: Don's FRIENDS and Friends of Anastasia. The Event is hosted by Anastasia State Park, which is a BEAUTIFUL Ocean Front State Park located in St. Augustine, Florida.

Race Features

• T-Shirts: All runners will receive a Performance Tech T-shirt featuring our full-color Turtle graphic.
• Special Items: 2025 Runners will also receive a Beautiful Full Color Sublimated Bag Featuring our 2025 Turtle art.
• 0.0K Option: Allows individuals to purchase the FAMOUS Turtle Shirt without running the races.
• Much More: Additional special gift items will be available at the race.

Course Description

10K Run: (6.2 miles) through Anastasia State Park's beach, hammock, and salt marsh. The race begins near the Island Beach Shop and Grill, returning to the finish line at the same place.

5K Run/Walk: Start line is near the Island Beach Shop and Grill, mostly on the beach and timed for low tide. Both runners and walkers are welcomed for the 5K event.

Virtual Races

We’ve added VIRTUAL Runs for the 5K and 10K. The Virtual Runs are on the Honor System, and you receive the entire race packet, including our Fantastic Turtle Shirt and more!

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will take place at Anastasia State Park on Friday, November 14th, from 2pm to 6pm, or on race morning from 7:00 to 8:00 am. If packets are not picked up by race time, they will be forfeited.
