🏃‍♂️ BridgeWay 5K Details

Join the City of Mauldin and BridgeWay Station at the second annual BridgeWay 5K! This family-friendly event will take you across the Mauldin Gateway Bridge and down a portion of the future Swamp Rabbit Trail. The route continues as it crosses Butler Road and winds around Mauldin High School bringing you back over the bridge before you cross the finish line at BridgeWay Station!

🐾 Family-Friendly Fun

• Fun Run: The Fun Run will begin after the 5K ends.
• Pet-Friendly: This event is family-friendly, including our 4-legged family members (on leash).
• Beer Sponsorship: Spend the day at BridgeWay Station and enjoy 1 free beer from BridgeWay Brewing Co, our official beer sponsor (must be 21+ to consume, valid for 5K participants only)!
• Pet Care: Please use your discretion on bringing your dog, the ground along the route may be hot and not conducive for pets.

🎗️ Partnering with American Cancer Society

We are excited to partner with American Cancer Society this year. Stop by their booth for important information on screening and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support their valuable mission.

🗓️ Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 12:00 - 6:00 PM - Friday, May 16 at Mauldin Sports Center, 10 City Center Dr, Mauldin, SC 29662.
• Same Day Pickup: 9:00 - 10:00 AM - Saturday, May 17 at Bridgeway Station, 1000 Via Corso Ave, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
• 5K Race Start: 10:00 AM.
• Fun Run Start: 11:00 AM.

🗺️ 5K Course Map

The run course will start and finish at BridgeWay Station. It will cover a short out and back within the BridgeWay development before heading out to the Mauldin Gateway Bridge, a pedestrian bridge that will carry runners over I-385 and onto Butler Road. From there, participants will run around Mauldin High School and then follow Corn Road back onto Butler Road. Runners will close out the race by crossing back over the pedestrian bridge and onto BridgeWay grounds, reaching the finish line in front of the BridgeWay Station stage.
