🔥 Race Overview
The Firecracker Frolic 5k is Easley SC's Race. It has a 32-year history and a challenging but fun course. The race has been presented by the Easley Lions Club since 2016. The Easley Lions Club is proud sponsor this annual event.
💰 Purpose of the Event
- Proceeds: Monies from the event after expenses go to providing eye exams and glasses to folks in the Easley Community who are unable to afford them.
- Target Audience: Many of the glasses are provided to children and the older folks.
🏃♂️ Course Details
The race is run on the streets of Easley's downtown and starts at Old Market Square and returns there for the finish. It is a flat start and finish with a few hills in between just for fun.
🏆 Awards & Prizes
- Top Performers: Awards are given for the top three women and top three men.
- Age Groups: The top three male and female in age groups are recognized.
- Drawings: We also have drawings for some unusual prizes.
