ABOUT

• Facility: The Bridge Center Recovery is a treatment facility for men seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction.
• Location: We are located on West Whitner Street in Anderson, SC.
• History: The Bridge Center has been operating since August of 2020.
• Impact: We have helped over 300 men in an official capacity to date.

PROCEEDS

• Purpose: Race proceeds go back to our Scholarship Fund to financially assist men through our program.
• Cost: The current cost is $4,000 for 4 months.
• Benefit: Funds raised will tremendously benefit The Bridge Center Recovery.
• Goal: Our vision is to eradicate addiction one addict/alcoholic at a time.

START TIMES

• 5K: The 5K will begin at 8am.
• Fun Run: The Fun Run will begin after the 5K Start (approximately 8:20am).

STARTING LOCATION

• Address: East/West Parkway and Highway 81 (Ingles Intersection).

RACE TIMING

• Timing: The 5K will be timed by Upstate Race Series.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: This category will not be timed.

REGISTRATION FEES

• Earlybird Pricing: 5K - $30 / 1 Mile Fun Run - $10.
• Earlybird Deadline: Registration ends on 3/19.
• Standard Fees: 5K - $35 / 1 Mile Fun Run - $15 / Toddlers under 2 free (in a stroller).
• Event Shirt: Included with registration for 5K participants only. 1 Mile participants may purchase a shirt.

RACE PACKET PICKUP

• Timing: Race packet pick-up will begin at the starting location 45 minutes prior to the race.

PRIZES

• Awards: Prizes and medals will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female winners.
• Medals: Medals will be given to top 3 male and female runners in various age brackets.

AGE BRACKETS FOR MEDALS

• 12 & under: Age group medal.
• 13 - 19: Age group medal.
• 20 - 29: Age group medal.
• 30 - 39: Age group medal.
• 40 - 49: Age group medal.
• 50 - 59: Age group medal.
• 60 - 69: Age group medal.
• 70 & up: Age group medal.

WEATHER

• Conditions: This race is rain or shine.
• Cancellation: In the unlikely event of inclement weather that would force cancellation, your registration fee will be considered a donation.
