Fundraising Goals

• Free Entry: The race is completely free of charge.
• Donation: Participants are encouraged to donate what they can.
• Goal: Aim to raise $5000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
• Community: Join the Anderson Run Club in a bike ride across SC in July 2027.

Ride Information

Every July since 2009, hundreds of cyclists participate in a three-day scenic group ride to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants can choose between:

• The Grand Tour: 257 miles
• The Half Tour: 135 miles
• Virtual Challenge: Participants pedal their miles throughout July wherever they choose.
• Community: All participants are part of a mission to end Alzheimer's.

Race Details

• What: 30 hour endurance run, run as little or as long as you like.
• Parking: Overnight runners can park at the venue. Additional parking available.
• Course: A 2 mile loop on a paved golf cart path with grass crossovers.
• Camping: Overnight camping setup encouraged for runners wishing to earn that buckle.

Facilities

• Restrooms: 4 indoor restrooms available at the pool house area.
• Power: Power available in the start/finish area.
• Hydration: Bring your own hydration vessel to make this a cup-less event.
• Respect: Please be respectful and clean up after yourself.

Timing, Results, & Race Awards

• Finishers: All finishers will receive a race-specific participation medal.
• 50 Mile Coin: Finishers of 50 miles will receive a 50 Mile Coin.
• Belt Buckle: Finishers of 100 miles will receive a Belt Buckle.
• Self-Monitoring: Timing will be self-monitored and reported under results in runsignup.
