Event Overview
On Saturday, August 8th, 2026, the Run the Green Wave 5k will be held at Easley High School in Easley, SC. This 5k will be very unique in that it will be held on the Easley cross country course. It is on mostly grass with a few pavement crossings, with a fast finish on the Track. The entire community is welcome to attend this fun event! There will be award winners, music, and door prizes for all contestants.
There will also be a Run the Green Wave Kid's Mile before the 5k. This Green Wave Mile is intended for children 6th grade and below.

- Run the Green Wave Mile: 7:10 AM
- Run the Green Wave 5k: 7:30 AM
Registration Details
- Cost for Green Wave Mile: $10
- Cost for Green Wave 5k: $25
- T-shirt guarantee: Register before July 26th, 2026, at 11:59 PM
- Online registration: Open until August 8th (7:10 AM)
Proceeds Information
All proceeds go to the entire Cross Country & Track program at Easley High School.
Participation Notes
- Open to: The entire community, all ages welcome.
- High School teams: Welcome to participate, but this is not a sanctioned High School meet.
- Inclusions: Registration includes a t-shirt and other items from various vendors.
Green Wave Mile
- Start time: 7:10 AM
- Age group: 0-10, cutoff will be 6th grade (If you want to run the 5k, sign up specifically for the 5k).
- Awards: All participants will receive a finishers medal.
Run the Green Wave 5k
- Start time: 7:30 AM
- Age group awards: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-50, 51-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Additional Information
Register by July 26th, 2026 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Race Day Registration: 6:00 AM-7:00 AM.
Race Packet Pick-up: Friday, August 7th, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Easley High School Main Office (outside).
