About South Carolina C.O.P.S.
- Mission: South Carolina Concerns of Police Survivors is a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
- Support: The organization provides peer support to survivors across South Carolina.
Honoring Lieutenant Ethan Kaskin
- Legacy: All proceeds from the Mustache Dash will benefit the South Carolina C.O.P.S. program in memory of Lieutenant Ethan Kaskin, an officer with the Anderson City Police Department.
- Fitness Trainer: Lieutenant Kaskin was also the owner and personal trainer at Urban Crazy Fitness.
- Passions: He took pride in his family, friends, law enforcement career, mustache, and clients at Urban Crazy Fitness.
Event Inspiration
- 5k Plans: Lieutenant Kaskin was preparing his Urban Crazy Fitness clients to complete a 5k before his passing on September 25, 2020.
- Event Name: He had envisioned and named the event “Mustache Dash.”
- Community Support: With community help and participation, his dream to host this event is becoming a reality.
- Purpose: The Mustache Dash will provide funds for supporting the families of fallen officers, a cause Lieutenant Kaskin cared deeply about.
