JuneteenthGVL 5K Run Ride Recover for Veterans

Event Overview

In celebration of Juneteenth, the City of Greenville is super excited about the wellness portion of this weekend's celebration! This Juneteenth Wellness Celebration will be held the morning of Saturday, June 14th. This year once again you have a couple of options, which includes a couple of new activities we’ve added.

Activities

• 5K Run/Walk: There will be a 5K Run or Walk, starting and finishing in front of Blues Boulevard (300 River St. Greenville, SC 29601) directly across from the Peace Center Outdoor Stage, with the bulk of the route occurring on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
• Cycling Class: The first cycling class starts at 9:00am and the second cycling class starts at 10:00am, both at CycleBar of Greenville (307 E McBee Ave).
• Line Dancing Party: Join the Line Dancing Party at 11:00am at Yee-Haw Brewing Company!
• Road Bike Ride: The 11/22 Mile Road Bike Ride will take place at the Donaldson Center (666 Perimeter Rd. Greenville, SC 29605) on Sunday, June 15th at 7am.

Participant Information

All participants will receive a T-Shirt! As you prepare to register please note that you have options to do the 5K only, a cycling class only, the line dance party only, the 11 or 22 mile bike ride, or you can do 2, 3, or all 4 events. Please be sure to select the correct event.

Proceeds

Proceeds for this Juneteenth Wellness event go to the Upstate Circle of Friends Vet Forward Program, which is a non-profit 501c3 organization that supports our veterans.
