Downtown Sundown 5K

🌅 Race Overview

• Event: Join us to run the streets and trails of Blacksburg at sunset!
• Prizes: Prizes awarded under the stars!
• Festival: The Downtown Sundown 5k Race is part of the Summer Solstice Festival.
• Series: It is the 5th race in the 2025 RunAbout Race Series presented by Roots Realty Group, Skip Slocum & Associates.

🕗 Race Details

• Start Time: Race starts at 8pm.
• Sunset: Run in the night with the sunset at 8:42pm.
• Attire: Participants are encouraged to wear glowsticks, lights, and/or reflective clothing.

📅 Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 6pm to 7:50pm - Packet Pickup at the Alexander Black House Lawn on Draper Rd
• Registration: 7:45pm - Race registration closes
• Start Location: 8:00pm - Race start on Draper Rd behind the Town Municipal Building

📦 Packet Pickup Schedule

• Friday: June 20th - 3pm to 7pm: Packet pickup at RunAbout Sports
• Saturday: June 21st - 6pm to 7:50pm - Race day packet pickup at the Alexander Black House lawn on Draper Rd
