Mineral Point Historic Gettin’ The Lead Out Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 43rd annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run. Choose between a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point. Walkers welcome!

📅 Event Details

• Date: 7/4/2024
• Day-of registration: from 7:00-7:30 AM.
• Race start time: 8:00 am SHARP!
• Location: Soldier's Memorial Park, Mineral Point, WI

📝 Registration

• Details: Include age, T-shirt size, gender (male or female), and choice of 2 or 5 mile run/walk in the comment section.
• Early registration: Register before June 1, 2025, to guarantee a t-shirt.
• Shirt availability: Extra shirts may be available the day of the event, but no guarantees.
• Deadline: Please register before JUNE 1.

⛰️ Course Details

• Terrain: The course is extremely hilly!
• Water stations: Water available at the 2 and 4 mile marks.
• Cooling station: Hose available at the finish line.
• Facilities: Restrooms available at the park.

🏆 Awards

• First place: Finishers in each division receive a commemorative mug from Brewery Pottery.
• Second place: Finishers receive a medal.
• Participation: Ribbons available for all participants age 12 & under.
