The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 45th annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run. Choose between a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point. Walkers welcome!
Event Details
- Date: 7/4/2026
- Registration: Day-of registration from 7:00-7:30 AM.
- Start Time: Race begins at 8:00 am SHARP!
- Location: Soldier's Memorial Park, Mineral Point, WI
Registration
- Requirements: Include age, T-shirt size, gender (male or female), and choice of 2 or 5 mile run/walk in the comment section.
- Deadline: Register before June 1, 2026, to guarantee a t-shirt.
- Availability: Extra shirts may be available the day of the event, but no guarantees, so please register before JUNE 1.
Course Details
- Terrain: The course is extremely hilly!
- Water: Water available at the 2 and 4 mile marks.
- Facilities: Hose available at the finish line.
- Restrooms: Available at the park.
Awards
- First Place: Finishers in each division receive a commemorative mug from Brewery Pottery.
- Second Place: Finishers receive a medal.
- Ribbons: Available for all participants age 12 & under.
