Mineral Point Historic Gettin’ The Lead Out Run

The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 45th annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run. Choose between a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point. Walkers welcome!

Event Details

• Date: 7/4/2026
• Registration: Day-of registration from 7:00-7:30 AM.
• Start Time: Race begins at 8:00 am SHARP!
• Location: Soldier's Memorial Park, Mineral Point, WI

Registration

• Requirements: Include age, T-shirt size, gender (male or female), and choice of 2 or 5 mile run/walk in the comment section.
• Deadline: Register before June 1, 2026, to guarantee a t-shirt.
• Availability: Extra shirts may be available the day of the event, but no guarantees, so please register before JUNE 1.

Course Details

• Terrain: The course is extremely hilly!
• Water: Water available at the 2 and 4 mile marks.
• Facilities: Hose available at the finish line.
• Restrooms: Available at the park.

Awards

• First Place: Finishers in each division receive a commemorative mug from Brewery Pottery.
• Second Place: Finishers receive a medal.
• Ribbons: Available for all participants age 12 & under.
