🍀 Purpose of the Event

• Fundraising: The event raises money to support Marietta PAL’s Youth Sports, Recreation and Education Programs.
• Community Impact: These programs serve school-aged area youth who may not afford to participate otherwise.
• Incentives: Prizes will be awarded for St. Patrick’s Day themed costume contests, including the most convincing leprechaun.
• Awards: Top qualifier awards will be presented during the event.

🎉 Memorial Mile of Celebration

• Special Designation: The 2nd Mile of the race is the “Memorial Mile of Celebration.”
• Honoring Loved Ones: Participants can register “In Memory Of” teams to honor those they’ve loved and lost.
• Ceremonial Focus: From Mile Marker 1 to Mile Marker 2, participants are encouraged to celebrate their loved ones with cheers, chants, and salutes.
• Team Registration: Create your “In Memory Of” Team when registering.

👕 Team Registration Details

• Share the Link: Encourage family and friends to join your team and coordinate for the Memorial Mile of Celebration.
• Team Name: Be sure to share your “team name” for easy registration.
• Special Recognition: “In Memory Of” teams with 25 or more members registered by February 14th will have their loved one’s name added to the souvenir race shirt.
• Memorial Wristbands: Teams will also receive special memorial wristbands.
