Purpose of the Event

• Goal: To raise money for Marietta PAL’s Youth Sports, Recreation and Education Programs.
• Community Impact: Supports school-aged area youth who might otherwise struggle to participate.
• Participation: Open for Runners and Sponsors (or both).
• Festivities: Prizes for St. Patrick’s Day themed costume contests for the most convincing leprechaun and top qualifier awards.

Memorial Mile of Celebration

• Special Feature: The 2nd Mile will be designated as the “Memorial Mile of Celebration!”
• Honoring Loved Ones: Participants can register “In Memory Of” teams to run in honor of those we’ve loved and lost.
• Celebration Activities: Encouragement of cheers, chants, and salutes during the race from Mile Marker 1 to Mile Marker 2.
• Registration: "In Memory of" teams who register 25 or more members by February 14th will have their loved one's name featured on the souvenir race shirt and receive special memorial wristbands.

Joining the “Memorial Mile of Celebration”

• Create a Team: When registering, simply create your “In Memory of” Team!
• Encourage Participation: Share the team link to invite family and friends to join, dress up, and coordinate.
• Registration Ease: Share your “team name” for easy registration.
• Deadline: Ensure 25 or more team members register by February 14th.
