The Memorial Day Classic
We are excited to announce that the 19th annual Memorial Day Classic 5K & 1-mile family fun-run/walk will be happening on May 25, 2026 at Drakes Creek Park, Hendersonville, TN. We also have a virtual option as well!

Registration Information
- Deadline: All participants are strongly encouraged to register by May 21 at 5pm.
- Packet Pickup: Bibs and t-shirts can be picked up at Sumner County YMCA on Friday, May 22 from 5-7pm or Saturday, May 23 from 8am-1pm.
- VIRTUAL participants: Must pick up t-shirts at the designated times: unavailable on race day.
- Online Registration: Available exclusively at TheMemorialDayClassic.com.
Race Day Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Begins at 6am on race day.
- Opening Ceremonies: Held at the finish line at 7am sharp, honoring our brave veterans.
- Race Starts: 5K at 7:30am and 1 Mile at 8:30am. 5K is chip-timed: 1 Mile is a FUN run/walk and not timed.
- Children: Participating in the 1 Mile will have the opportunity to start at the front.
On-Course Amenities
- Water Stops: Available on the course.
- Finish Line Food: Refreshments will be provided at the finish line.
- Awards: Given to the top male and female overall finishers in the LIVE 5K race and top male and female overall Masters (40+) finishers.
- Results: Participants will be able to view their results after the races via a link on the website.
