Race Overview

The Moonshiner 5K Night Race is BACK and being hosted by Half-Moon Outfitters on Friday, Sept. 25th, at 8 p.m. at Paris Mountain State Park. The Moonshiner 5K will cover trails in Paris Mountain State Park.

Mission

• Purpose: To provide a fun, safe and competitive experience for runners.
• Support: Raising money for trail construction and maintenance at Paris Mountain State Park.
• Type: The first night trail race in the Southeast.
• Proceeds: All proceeds from the race will be donated to Paris Mountain State Park.

Shirt Information

• Sizes: Unisex sizes: S, M, L, XL, and XXL.

Registration

• Online: Race registration ends Friday, Sept. 25th at 5 p.m or until sold out.
• In-Person: Register at Half-Moon Outfitters all day Friday until 5 p.m or until sold out.
• Race Day: Registration at the park is available up until 15 minutes before race time or until sold out.

Race Policies

• Lighting: All runners are required to wear a light source. Make sure you have a source before coming to the race!
• Headlamps: Available for purchase at your local Half-Moon or here.
• Parking: Limited parking at the park: carpooling is recommended.
• Refunds: This race is a benefit for Paris Mountain State Park, and therefore, we cannot offer refunds.
