Historic Drawbridge Running Festival

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Course Type: We can't wait to show off one of Maryland's FLATTEST courses, with our Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k events.
• Location: Beautiful Talbot County, Maryland.
• Distance: Marathon, Half Marathon (13.1 miles), and 5k (out and back from the finish line).
• Certification: ALL COURSES ARE USATF CERTIFIED COURSES!!!

🗺️ Course Details

• Half Marathon: The half marathon will navigate from Tilghman Island to St Michaels, with a 13.1 mile STRAIGHT RUN.
• Full Marathon: The full marathon follows the half course, turning right on Bozman-Neavitt Rd and traveling through tiny Bozman.
• 5k Event: Starting at 8:30 am, the 5k will start and finish at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
• Aide Stations: Located along the course for hydration and nutrition needs.

⏰ Event Information

• Date: Saturday, November 8th, 2025.
• Start Time: The event will start from the Wylder Hotel on Tilghman Island at 8 am.
• Distance Setup: Runners will be allowed to cross the mat within the first 5 minutes for proper distancing.
• Arrival Time: All runners must be on site by 7:45 am.

🚌 Transportation

• Bus Service: Buses will be available at the Maritime Museum on race morning to transport you to the start line.
• Return Vehicle: Your vehicle will be available upon your finish at the entrance to the Maritime Museum.
• Traffic Management: Traffic will be briefly shut down on the Island to ensure safety.
• Drawbridges: The course includes two drawbridges to cross safely.

🏅 Time Limit

• Cutoff: There is an eight (8) hour cutoff for the marathon and half marathon.
• Pace: Participants can move as fast as 18 min 30 second pace.
• Ideal for: Perfect for those recovering from a long season or pushing their limits at the end of the year.
• Marathon Support: Friends at the marathon distance will get a whopping 8 hours to complete the event!!!
