Historic Drawbridge Running Festival

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: Saturday, November 8th, 2025
• Location: 213 NORTH TALBOT STREET, St Michaels, MD
• Race Options: Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k
• Certification: ALL COURSES ARE USATF CERTIFIED COURSES!

🗺️ Course Information

• Half Marathon: A straightforward 13.1-mile route from Tilghman Island to St Michaels.
• Marathon: Follows the half marathon course with an additional loop through Bozman.
• 5k Event: Starts and finishes at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, 1.55 miles out and back.
• Elevation: The course is known for having little to no elevation or turns!

⏰ Event Details

• Start Time: Events begin at 8:00 AM, with the 5k starting at 8:30 AM.
• Check-In: All runners must be on site by 7:45 AM.
• Transportation: Buses will be provided to transport participants from the Maritime Museum to the start line.
• Cut-Off Times: Participants have a generous 8-hour limit for the marathon and half marathon.

💧 Aid Stations

• Hydration: Aid stations will be available along the course for hydration and nutrition needs.
• Traffic Control: Traffic will be briefly shut down on the Island during the start.
• Safety: Runners will cross the first of two drawbridges at the beginning of the race.
• Community: Join fellow runners in a friendly, supportive environment!
