The weather was perfect for the 2025 HC5K! Clear, crisp with little to no wind. The 2026 5K will be run on Sunday, February 15, with the hopes the weather will be chilly and clear. The rain/snow date is Sunday, March 1st just in case Mother Nature does not cooperate this year.

- Where: Cafeteria of the Kent Island Elementary School
- Registration: Race day registration available (no guarantee of premium)
- Awards Ceremony: Begins at 10:00 AM after the run
Awards and Pricing
- Categories: Awards for 1st place male, 1st place female, and age group awards
- Dog Treats: Available for all dogs at the end
- Eligibility: Age group winners must be present to receive their award
- New Division: 5K walking only - Top 3 male and female win awards
