🏃♀️🚀Welcome to the Run for Parkinson's!
We are back with a Run for Parkinson's that is BIGGER and BETTER than ever!
The 2024 PJP Run for Parkinson's will take place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in Farragut Tennessee. Participants and attendees can come early and stay after to enjoy our Health Exhibition or participate in our Movement Program. In 2015, PJ Parkinson's Support was created and held its first walk-a-thon that Fall: in 2019, the 5K run was added. This year, we are excited to offer the long-requested option of a 10K run!
Once again, Parkinson's Support Groups from across East Tennessee are coming together to support an event focused on increasing Parkinson's awareness and what is being done locally to help those with Parkinson's and their families: we will be united for the cause! The goal of our 2024 Run for Parkinson's is to help people better understand this progressive, degenerative nervous system disorder and offer patients and their families a caring environment full of support.
📝💰Registration Information
EARLY REGISTRATION - $30 5K Run | $40 10K Run [$5 increase after 8/31/2025] includes:
- Swag Bag: "The Greatest" Swag Bag of items donated by our sponsors
- Runner Raffle: Ticket for the Runner Raffle
- Race T-shirt: for participants (guaranteed with early registration)
- Prizes: Winners of Each Group will receive Prizes and Medals
Post Race Refreshments
🏋️♂️💵Movement Program Details
Movement Program - $25 fee includes:
- Registration: is open until October 3rd
- Start Time: Movement Program will start at 10:00 am at the old Steinmart building where the race starts
- T-shirt: (guaranteed with registration before September 15)
FREE lunch for our Parkinson's community will be provided at 11:30am. Sponsored by Supernus.
ℹ️📅Additional Race Information
Additional optional T-shirts can be pre-ordered with online registration for $15.
- Event T-shirts: A limited number of t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $20.
- Packet Pick-up: avoid the lines on race day and pick up your race packet on 9/20 from 4:00-6:30 PM at Fleet Feet, 11619 Parkside Dr.
🏆🥇Awards and Prizes
Awards & Prizes will be given to the winners of the following categories:
- Top 3 Overall: Male and Female Runners
- Top 3 Male and Female Runners: in each category
- Category Winners: will each receive a beautiful lanyard medal!
