☀️ Race Overview

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Joe’s Spreading the Sunshine 5k! Let's continue to celebrate the life and smiles of Joe spreading his sunshine everywhere he went!

💰 Race Registration

• Race fee: $35 and includes a race t-shirt if registered by August 7th, 2026.
• T-shirt availability: There will only be a limited supply of shirts and sizes after the shirt cutoff date of August 7th, 2026.
• Sign up: Please make sure to sign up before the cutoff date!

🕘 Event Details

• Start time: 5K will start at 9AM at the Shelby Pavilion in downtown Shelby, MI.
• Check-In: Packet Pickup will start at 8AM.

🎓 Proceeds

Proceeds will go into the Shelby Public Schools General Scholarship Fund, managed by the Oceana Community Foundation, and will be used for a student going to a trade school in Memory of Joseph Veltman.
