• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group
• Finisher Medal: For all participants
• Age Groups: Male and Female categories from 14 to 80+

• Historical Background: The Third annual Pirate 5K Run/Walk begins at Historic St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, where Lorenzo Ferrier, the man who may or may not be Jean Lafitte, is buried.
• Route: Participants will head to the Lincolnton Rail Trail at First Federal Park.
