🏃‍♀️ Join the Zombie Run and Lurch

Join us for an exciting run or walk along the Towpath Trail starting at Clark Field in Tremont. Dress up as a Zombie or put on your scariest outfit! You'll be supporting an all-volunteer organization that is actively working to preserve and enhance the historic cemetery grounds, plant and maintain trees, repair headstones, monuments and burial structures.

🌆 Trail Overview

• Scenic route: The Towpath Trail in Cleveland, Ohio, meanders near Sokolowski's Overlook, offering scenic views of the city's industrial heartland and the Cuyahoga River.
• Historical context: The Towpath Trail provides a blend of historical context and scenic views of Cleveland's industrial riverfront.
• Accessibility: It serves as a key access point to explore both the northern and southern sections of the trail within the city.

🪦 Monroe Street Cemetery

• Resting place: Monroe Street Cemetery is the resting place for local political and business leaders, safety forces, veterans, and many others who built Cleveland and its communities.
• Stories: There are more than 34,000 stories in this beautiful 13-acre open space, which is also a refuge for birds and wildlife.
• Community space: The cemetery provides tree-covered walking paths for the community to enjoy.

🕒 Race Details

• Start Time: Registration/Packet Pick Up - 8:00am, 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk- 9:00am
• Distances: 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run
• Timing: 5K - Chip Timed, 1 Mile - Untimed

🎟️ Registration Information

• Pre-Registration: 5k Run ($35) and 1 Mile walk ($25) until 11:59pm on Saturday September 21.
• Mail Entries: All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Make checks payable to Hermes Sports & Events.
• Race Day: Registration Begins 8:00am. 5k ($40) and 1 mile walk ($30).

• What You Get: A short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments.
• Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Male and Female Age Group Winners in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
