Burgaw Autumn Festival's Graveyard 5K & Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile

Graveyard 5K

• Type: Traditional race through Burgaw, North Carolina.
• Scenic Route: Includes running on the scenic Osgood Canal Greenway and Urban Trail.
• Cemetery Run: Features a 1/3 mile section through the Burgaw Cemetery.
• History: Graves dating back to the 1860s.

Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile

• Distance: One Mile Race.
• Location: Participants run the town square in Burgaw.
• Treats: Trick or treat through the festival after the race.
• Age: Open to participants of all ages.

Community Partner

• Partnership: Event has partnered with the Parks Foundation of Burgaw Splash Pad Project.
• Goal: Raising funds for a Splash Pad at Bishop Rayford Hankins Memorial Park.
• Purpose: To create a vibrant and safe play space for kids.
• Action: Help turn on the water and up the fun in Burgaw!

• Historic Site: In front of the Historic Burgaw Train Depot.
• Options: Any legal parking spot along Freemont Street.
