🏃♀️ The Houston Heights Fun Run
This year marks the 40th annual Heights Fun Run hosted by the Houston Heights Association. The Houston Heights Fun Run will be held on Saturday October 11th, 2025! The event started in 1985 and despite everything, has not missed a year!
🎉 Event Details
Event Date: Saturday, October 11th, 2025
Event Location: Marmion Park. 1800 Heights Boulevard. Houston TX 77008
🏅 Hybrid Event Format
- In-Person Option: Enjoy the race on the day of the event with a choice of 10K run, 5K walk or run, or a Kids 1K.
- Virtual Option: Participate any time from registration until race day on any trail of your choice.
- Safety Measures: Hybrid format allows for mindful social distancing while enjoying the community spirit.
📅 Race Day Schedule
- 5:30AM: Last minute packet pick up @ Marmion
- 6:45AM: Pre-Race Stretching begins @ Starting Line
- 7:00AM: 10K Run begins @ Starting Line
- 8:00AM: Kids 1K begins @ Starting Line
👥 Race Day Groups
5K/10K Competitive runs will start at the same time with group signs based on estimated mile pace. Please choose your group based on best knowledge to keep everyone safe.
📍 Course Information
- 1K Route: Starts at Marmion Park (18th Street), turns around at 15th Street, and stops at Marmion
- 5K Route: Starts at Marmion Park (18th Street), turns around at 5th Street, and stops at Marmion
- 10K Route: The 5K Route completed twice
📦 Packet Pick Up Information
Pick Up Date #1 - Sunday, October 5th - 8AM - 4PM - Historic Firehouse 107 W 12th Street Houston TX 77008.
🏆 Awards
Awards will be handed out starting at 8:30AM at the After-Party. Top 3 Male & Top 3 Female Finishers of each age group in the 5K Run and 10K Run will receive awards.
👕 Shirt Deadline Information
Order Deadline: Shirt guarantee deadline is September 26th. Registrations after this date may receive a different shirt size.
🎊 After Party Information
Post-Race, enjoy a spaced After-Party at Marmion Park with local community vendors and sponsors - more details to come!
