The Utica First Summer Sizzle is back and hotter than ever in its 37th year!

Join in on the fun and celebrate Father's Day on June 15th as the Sizzle Five Mile road race returns to Proctor Park and the Masonic Care Community!

🛡️ Safety Guidelines

• Compliance: We will be following all city, state, and federal guidelines to hold a safe race for all our participants.
• Virtual Option: We will also be offering a virtual option for runners who would prefer to do the 5 mile distance on their own.
• Refund Policy: There will be no refunds or deferrals into 2026.

👨‍👧‍👦 Family Fun and Awards

• Family Event: The Summer Sizzle has a long-standing tradition of being a family event.
• Special Divisions: To celebrate Father's Day, we will have multiple divisions for families to compete in for special awards and prizes.
• Divisions Include: Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Mother/Daughter, and a Division for all Couples.
• Discount: There is a $5.00 price reduction for all members of the Utica Roadrunners!

🎽 Participants' Goodies

What do you get? A sweet Summer Sizzle racing singlet with a new design from our friends at USA Racing! The first 250 registrations (including the kids run) also get a pair of savory sunglasses to keep the sun out of your eyes in style! And stickers! You get a sticker too!

⏰ Race Schedule

• Half Mile Kids Run: Begins at 8:30 am
• Five Mile Summer Sizzle: Begins at 9 am

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Saturday, June 14th: at the Sneaker Store 12-5 pm
• Sunday, June 15th: at TR Proctor Park from 7:30 am to 8:45 am

🏆 Event Participation

This is a part of the Utica Roadrunners Four Race Challenge, the UR Grand Prix, and the Club Cup.
