🏃‍♂️ About the Race

The 36th annual Bill’s Beer Run (BBR) is a 5-mile road race that takes place on FEB 2nd at Twin Lakes Park, hosted each year by the Manasota Track Club (MTC).

This year's theme is FAIRY TALES, FANTASY and FABLES!

📅 Registration Information

• Deadline: REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 1 TO GUARANTEE YOUR SHIRT SIZE.
• Warning: Registrations after September 1 are not guaranteed to get a shirt at all.
• Members: MTC members enjoy early registration to secure their spots.
• Limit: This longstanding club event sells out quickly and is limited to 700 runners.

• History: Started in 1989 by MTC member Bill Menard as the sole fundraiser for our non-profit organization.
• Fun Factor: Long touted as “the most fun you can have running five miles!”
• Course: AMAZING race course along the Gulf of Mexico on Halloween weekend.
• Activities: Enjoy BEER, great race shirts, costumes, 10-deep age group awards, DJ, dancing, hot-dogs, and more!

🚫 Important Notes

• Restrictions: Due to the County restrictions on the size of this race and the narrowness of Casey Key Road, strollers and dogs are not permitted.

📝 BBR Race Registration

• Capacity: Limited to 700 runners.
• Pricing: Blitz pricing with registrations as low as $25!
• Opening: Registration for members opens on June 1st at 10:27am.
• Non-Members: Non-member registration opens on July 1. Price is $100.

🍻 Pub Run Series

Want to be in a BBR mood all month long? The Pub Run series is for you!! Your PUB RUN registration includes RACE ENTRY to the BBR 5 Miler on 10/27 AND ENTRY to the THREE Pub Runs leading up to race day. The Pub Run Series is limited to 100 people and takes place in the month of October. Pub Runs will take place on Thursday, October 3, 10, and 17. The Pub Runs give members a chance to run together at different bars around the area, win swag, and socialize, all while supporting the club’s mission to give back to the community while encouraging healthy physical activity.

Limited to 25 SUPER-SPECIAL MTC members. The VIP package includes: BBR race registration, 10 raffle tickets, special swag (could be a shirt, could be a hat, whatever it is it’ll be COOL!) and special VIP treatment on race day including reserved parking on race morning, special armband for beer tent, recognition at the event and knowing that YOU helped to contribute to the student scholarships program. ⏱️ Timing Information

Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group.
