Bill's Beer Run

Event Overview

The 38th annual Bill’s Beer Run (BBR) is a 5-mile road race that takes place on October 25th on Casey Key, hosted each year by the Manasota Track Club (MTC).

Registration Information

• Deadline: Register by September 1 to guarantee your shirt size.
• Note: Registrations after September 1 are not guaranteed to receive a shirt.
• Perks: Members enjoy early registration to secure their spots.
• Open Registration: Non-member registration opens on August 1st, if there are remaining spots.

Race Details

• History: Started in 1988 by Bill Menard as the sole fundraiser for MTC.
• Capacity: Limited to 500 runners: sells out quickly.
• Course: Amazing race course along the Gulf of Mexico.
• Features: BEER, great race shirts, costumes, awards, DJ, and hot-dogs.

Important Notes

• Restrictions: Strollers and dogs are not permitted due to County restrictions.
• Rules: USATF rules apply: gun time determines prize winners.
• Time Tracking: Tag time (chip time) will be used for age-group results.

BBR Race Registration

• Non-Member Pricing: $150 registration fee for non-members.

Pub Run Series

• Inclusion: Registration includes entry to BBR and 3 Pub Runs before race day.
• Limit: Series is limited to 100 participants.
• Schedule: Takes place on Thursdays in October.
• Purpose: Supports the club's mission and encourages healthy activity.

VIP Package

• Availability: Limited to 25 SUPER-SPECIAL MTC members.
• Inclusions: BBR registration, Pub Run Series, raffle tickets, and special swag.
• Catering: VIP treatment on race day including reserved parking and recognition.
• Contribution: Proceeds support student scholarships.
