Race Overview
Join the Englewood YMCA for our annual Half Marathon & 5K, set along scenic Manasota Key, one of Florida's most beautiful coastal destinations. This fast, runner-friendly course features long straightaways, minimal turns, and miles of tree-lined roadway that provide welcome shade along the route.
Both races begin at the South Beach Parking Lot. Half Marathon participants will head north on Beach Road for approximately 6.55 miles before making a turnaround and returning to the finish. The 5K follows the same scenic route on a shorter out-and-back course.
Registration
Advance registration is required. There will be no race day registration.
5K (Ages 14 & Under): $15 (price does not increase)

- Free hot breakfast: at The SandBar Tiki & Grille beginning at 8:30 AM
- One complimentary draft beer: for participants age 21+

Race Information
- Parking: Englewood Beach Parking Area
- Carpooling: is strongly encouraged.
- Time Limit: The Half Marathon has a 3-hour, 30-minute time limit, requiring an average pace of approximately 16 minutes per mile.
- Course Alert: The course remains open to traffic. Participants should stay alert and follow all instructions from law enforcement and race volunteers.
Timing & Awards
The race is professionally chip timed.
Per USATF rules, gun time will determine overall winners and any prize money or bonus awards. Chip time (net time) will be used to determine all age group award winners.
