Race Purpose
Let's run/walk to help support the physical, mental, and emotional health of individuals and families. All proceeds will go towards:
- Mindfulness Education: Programs promoting mental well-being.
- Community-based Outreach: Direct support initiatives for families.
- Nourished Bellies: Food assistance programs across various countries.
Event Details
Join in person at the beautiful Randall's Island Park in NYC. T-shirt and bib number pick-up will be available on the day of the event.
- Participants Receive: Race t-shirt, bib and medal (For adults, teens, and children). For those registering later than September 7th, a 5K t-shirt may not be available.
- Dog Participants: Race bandana, bib and medal (For dogs).
- Refreshments: Snacks provided for everyone.
- Goodies: Goodie bag for dogs and kids.
Virtual Participation
Join the International Virtual 5K Run/Walk (Open Donation) includes:
- Certificate: Virtual certificate for participants.
Beneficiary Programs
100% of proceeds benefits Faith in Children's Initiatives:
- Nourished Bellies USA: Monthly delivery of food and refreshments in Harlem, NY.
- Community Outreach USA: Yearly distribution of hygienic products in Harlem, NY.
- Nourished Bellies Brazil: Monthly food basket deliveries to communities in Pernambuco.
- Nourished Bellies Madagascar: Providing clean water to schools and a village in Ambovombe.
- Nourished Bellies Canada: Distribution of food and refreshments in Ontario, Toronto.
- Mindfulness Education USA: Programs in Long Beach, New York.
- Mindfulness Education Malawi: Programs at Dzaleka Refugee Camp and schools in the Lilongwe district.
