About the Event

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! • 7th Year: This will be the 7th year in Fort Worth.
• Community Event: Together we honor first responders and military, remember 9/11, and raise funds.
• History: Officer Garrett Hull - Fort Worth Police Department End of Watch: September 14, 2018.
• Recognition: The Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the Hull family's mortgage.

Event Details

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) event. Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.
• Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker – Shops at Clearfork, 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109.
• Registration: Open until 8:15 am on the day of the event.
• Online Close: Online registration closes at 8:15 am on the event day.

Participation Requirements

• Bib Number: Must wear your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Front-Line Position: Runners with a pace faster than 6 minutes/mile can seed in the front corral.
• T-Shirt: Guaranteed for those registered before 9/21/2026.
• Awards: Top placement medals for select categories and finisher medals for all participants.

Event Amenities

• Water Stations: Available along the route and at the start/finish area.
• Allowed Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter gear and military backpacks are allowed.
• Registration Fee: Does not count towards fundraising goals.
• Packet Pickup by Others: Allowed with a copy of your registration receipt.

Donations and Fundraising

• After Race Donations: Accepted through November 2026.
• Sponsorship: Contact fortworth@t2t.org for sponsorship opportunities.
• Goods Donations: Contact us for details on donating goods or services.
• Fundraising: Participants can start their own fundraising page after registration.

Transfers and Refunds

• Registrations: Can be transferred before October 9th.
• Refund Policy: No refunds will be provided.
• Volunteering: Register as a Volunteer online.
• Medical Assistance: Emergency Medical Service team will be on-site.

Pet Policy

No Pets: Animals are not allowed to participate in this event.

Awards Categories

• Fastest: Fastest Firefighter, Police Officer, and Military Servicemember in full uniform.
• Age Group: Awards for men and women 18 and over, boys and girls 13-17, and those under 12.
