Event Overview

The 2026 Tunnel to Towers Fort Worth Run & Walk will celebrate our 7th year in Fort Worth, returning to The Shops at Clearfork.

About the Run & Walk

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

• Community Involvement: We are excited to bring together the community to honor first responders and military, remember 9/11, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers programs.
• Tribute: Officer Garrett Hull was shot and killed while attempting to arrest three serial robbers.
• Mortgage Assistance: The Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the Hull family’s mortgage as part of its Season of Hope program.

Event Details

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles). Anyone can run or walk this event.
• Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker – Shops at Clearfork 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109, HOURS: 10am to 7pm Thursday and Friday, October 8th and 9th.
• Day of Registration: Yes, registration will remain open until 8:15 am on the morning of the event.
• Online Registration: Will close at 8:15am on the morning of the event.

Participant Guidelines

• Bib Requirement: Please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Front-Line Position: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: All people who register to participate or volunteer before 9/21/2026 will be guaranteed a shirt.
• Awards: Top placement medals for select categories and chip timing will be offered.

Additional Information

• Water Availability: A water station will be available along the route and at the start/finish area.
• Allowed Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted: leave personal items securely in your vehicle.
• Sponsorship: Please send all sponsorship correspondence to fortworth@t2t.org.
• Donations: Donations will be accepted through November 2026 for this event.

• Registration Transfer: Yes, registrations can be transferred before October 9th.
• Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds regardless of circumstances.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Go online to register as a volunteer.
• Medical Staff: Yes, there will be an Emergency Medical Service team available on-site.

Special Awards

• Fastest Participants: Special awards for firefighters, police officers, and military servicemembers participating in full uniform.
• Ages 18 and Over: First, second, and third place for men and women.
• Ages 13-17: First, second, and third place for boys and girls in this age group.
• Ages 12 and Under: First, second, and third place for boys and girls under 12.
