The 2026 Tunnel to Towers Fort Worth Run & Walk will celebrate our 7th year in Fort Worth, returning to The Shops at Clearfork.

About the Event

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. We honor those who lost their lives by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

Honoring Our Heroes

This year, we honor Police Officer Garrett Hull of the Fort Worth Police Department, who was killed on September 14, 2018, while attempting to apprehend serial robbers. His bravery and dedication is remembered by the community.

Event Details

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) event, which can be walked or run.
• Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker – Shops at Clearfork 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109. HOURS: 10am to 7pm on October 8th and 9th.
• Day of Registration: Yes, registration will remain open until 8:15 am on the day of the event.
• Online Registration: Closes at 8:15 am on the morning of the event, but remains open through that time.

Important Information

• Bib Number: Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment or will be asked to leave the course.
• Fast Runners: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral: arrive early.
• Event T-Shirt: Guaranteed for participants and volunteers who register before September 21, 2026.
• Awards: Top placement medals for select categories and finisher medals for all participants.

Hydration and Accessibility

• Water Stations: Available along the route and at the start/finish area.
• Allowed Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted: please leave all personal items in your vehicle.
• Fundraising: Your registration fee does not count toward the fundraising goal, but you can still encourage donations.
• Sponsorship: Contact fortworth@:t2t.org for sponsorship opportunities.

Contact and Further Information

• Packet Pickup Proxy: Yes, someone can pick up your packet if they present a copy of your registration receipt.
• Donations: Accepted through November 2026.
• Registration Transfers: Possible until Thursday, October 9th. Notify race directors.
• No Refunds: No refunds are provided regardless of circumstances: we are a rain or shine event.

Medical Assistance

An Emergency Medical Service team will be available on site, and radio communication is set up to coordinate assistance if needed.

Pets Policy

Animals are not allowed to participate in this event: please leave your pets at home.

Awards and Prizes

Special awards will be given to the fastest firefighter, police officer, and military serviceman participating in full uniform, as well as placements in various age categories.
