The 2026 Tunnel to Towers Fort Worth Run & Walk will celebrate our 7th year in Fort Worth, returning to The Shops at Clearfork.

What is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running 3 miles through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! This will be the 7th year in Fort Worth, and we are excited to once again bring together the community to honor first responders and military, remember 9/11, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers programs.

Honoring Our Heroes

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has been very active in supporting fallen first responders in the state of Texas, including:

• Officer Garrett Hull III: Shot and killed on September 14, 2018.
• Service: Served in specialized tactical units in FWPD for 17 years.
• Legacy: Remembered as a devoted husband, father, and outdoorsman.
• Survivors: Survived by wife, Sabrina Hull and two daughters, Jordan and Tristen.

Event Details

• Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) open to all participants.
• Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker, Shops at Clearfork, 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109.
• Online Registration: Closes at 8:15 am on the day of the event.
• Day of Registration: Open until 8:15 am on race day.

Participation Guidelines

• Bib Number: Must be displayed on the front of your outermost garment.
• Front-line Position: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile can be seeded in the front corral.
• Shirts: Guaranteed for early registrants (before 9/21/2026).
• Awards: Top placement medals for select categories, finisher medals for all participants.

Event Amenities

• Water Stations: Available along the route and at the start/finish area.
• Allowed Items: Strollers and wheelchairs permitted: personal items should be left in vehicles.
• Fundraising: Registration fee does not count towards fundraising goals.
• Donations: Accepting through November 2026, even after the race has started.

• Volunteering: Register as a volunteer online.
• Medical Support: Emergency Medical Service team will be on site.
• Cancellation Policy: No refunds: event is rain or shine.

• Pet Policy: No pets allowed at the event.
• Registration Transfers: Can be handled until October 9th via email.
• Receipts: Automatically provided upon registration.
