The 2025 Tunnel to Towers Fort Worth Run & Walk is continuing in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards! The address for the event is:

The starting location is the Large parking lot on the south side of E. Exchange. Parking to the north lot.

🕊️ What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?

Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running 3 miles through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
Mission: We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

Community Impact: This will be the 7th year in Fort Worth and we are excited to once again bring together the community to honor first responders and military, remember 9/11, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers programs.

👮‍♂️ Honoring Our Heroes

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has been very active in supporting fallen first responders in the state of Texas. One in particular which hits home for the community of Fort Worth:

Officer Tribute: While attempting to arrest three serial robbers, Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett Hull lll of Fort Worth, Texas, was shot and killed on September 14, 2018.
Career: During his 17 years in the FWPD, Hull served in specialized tactical units including the Special Response Team, Narcotics Division, and Tactical Intelligence Division.
Legacy: Garrett was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He was also an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors: He is survived by wife, Sabrina Hull, and two daughters, Jordan and Tristen.

🏅 Race Information

Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) to walk or run this event. Anyone can run, walk or experience this event.
Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker – Shops at Clearfork
5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109
HOURS: Thursday and Friday, October 9th and 10th, 10am - 6pm.
Same-Day Registration: Yes, registration will remain open until 8:15 am the morning of the event.
Online Registration: Online registration will remain open through the morning of the event and will close at 8:15am.

📋 Important Details

Race Bib: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.
Fast Runners: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral. (Arrive early)
T-shirt Guarantee: Yes, all people who register to participate or volunteer before 9/21/2025 will be guaranteed a shirt.
Awards: Yes, we will have top placement medals for select categories, finisher medals for all participants, and chip timing for those wanting to have a chip-timed bib.

💧 Hydration & Accessibility

Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route, and there will be water available at the start/finish area.
Permissible Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle.
Fundraising Registration: Your registration fee does not count toward the fundraising goal.
Packet Pickup: Yes, someone else can pick up your packet for you if they present a copy of your registration receipt.

💬 Donations & Sponsorship

Post-Race Donations: Yes, donations will be accepted through November 2025 for this event.
Sponsorships: Please send all sponsorship correspondence to fortworth@t2t.org with your contact information.
Goods or Services: You can contact us at fortworth@t2t.org. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
Fundraising Pages: Once you are registered, you will be given directions to start your own fundraising page and you will be able to accept donations online.

🔄 Registration & Refund Policies

Transfers: Yes, please contact us at fortworth@t2t.org and we will manually change it in our system.
Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds for the event regardless if you cannot make the date or the foundation needs to cancel the event for extenuating circumstances.
Volunteer Opportunities: It's simple! Go online to our registration site and Register as a Volunteer.
Medical Staff: Yes, there will be an Emergency Medical Service team available on-site.

Pets: No, please leave your furry friends at home. Animals are not allowed to participate in this event.
