The 2026 Tunnel to Towers Fort Worth Run & Walk will celebrate our 7th year in Fort Worth, returning to The Shops at Clearfork.

About the Event

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

Honoree

Police Officer Garrett Hull - Fort Worth Police Department End of Watch: September 14, 2018

• Background: Officer Garrett Hull was shot and killed while attempting to arrest three serial robbers.
• Service: He served in specialized tactical units during his 17 years with the Fort Worth Police Department.
• Legacy: He is remembered for his courage and dedication.
• Support: In December 2018, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the Hull family’s mortgage.

Event Participation

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) event that anyone can run, walk, or experience.
• Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker – Shops at Clearfork, 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109.
• Day of Registration: Yes, registration will remain open until 8:15 am on the event day.
• Online Registration: Online registration will remain open until 8:15 am on the event day.

Race Day Information

• Bib Display: Please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Fast Runners: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral.
• T-Shirts: Participants registering before 9/21/2026 will be guaranteed a shirt.
• Awards: Top placement medals for select categories and finisher medals for all participants.

Water and Accessibility

• Water Stations: A water station will be available along the route and at the start/finish area.
• Allowed Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted: personal items should be stored securely.
• Registration Fee: Your registration fee does not count toward the fundraising goal.
• Packet Pickup by Others: Yes, someone else can pick up your packet with a copy of your registration receipt.

Fundraising and Sponsorship

• Fundraising: Participants can fundraise and accept donations online.
• Sponsorship: For sponsorship inquiries, contact fortworth@t2t.org.
• Donations: Donations will be accepted through November 2026 for this event.
• Goods and Services: Contact fortworth@t2t.org to donate goods or services.

Additional Information

• Transfers: Registration transfer requests must be received before October 9th.
• Refunds: No refunds will be provided for this event.
• Volunteering: Register as a Volunteer through our site: volunteers are always needed!
• Medical Staff: An Emergency Medical Service team will be available on-site.

Pets and Awards

• Pets: Animals are not allowed to participate in this event.
• Awards: Special prizes for fastest firefighter, police officer, and serviceman in full uniform and top placements for various age groups.
