Event Overview

The 2026 Tunnel to Towers Fort Worth Run & Walk will celebrate our 7th year in Fort Worth, returning to The Shops at Clearfork.

About the Event

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, by supporting our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

Honoring Our Heroes

Police Officer Garrett Hull - Fort Worth Police Department End of Watch: September 14, 2018. Officer Hull was shot and killed while attempting to arrest three serial robbers. A devoted husband, father, son, brother, and avid sportsman, he is remembered for his courage and dedication.

Distance and Participation

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles). Anyone can run, walk or experience this event.
• Packet Pickup: Luke’s Locker – Shops at Clearfork, 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109, HOURS: 10am to 7pm Thursday and Friday, October 8th and 9th.

Registration Information

• Day of Registration: Yes, registration will remain open until 8:15 am in the morning of the event.
• Online Registration: Open through the morning of the event, closing at 8:15am.
• Bib Number: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Fast Runners: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral (arrive early).

Event Amenities

• T-shirt: Yes, guaranteed for all who register to participate or volunteer before 9/21/2026.
• Awards: Top placement medals for select categories, finisher medals for all participants.
• Water Stations: Water will be available along the route and at the start/finish area.
• Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted.

Fundraising and Sponsorship

• Registration Fee: Does not count toward the fundraising goal.
• Packet Pickup by Others: Yes, another person can pick up your packet with your registration receipt.
• Fundraising: Yes! Directions to start your own fundraising page will be provided upon registration.

Event Day Details

• Refunds: No refunds will be provided for the event.
• Volunteering: Register as a Volunteer online on our site.
• Medical Staff: Emergency Medical Service team will be available on site.
• Pets: No, please leave pets at home.
