Bishop Dunn Memorial School 8th Annual Cupcake 5k Run/Walk

The Sweetest Race in the Hudson Valley !!

Date and Location

• Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026
• Time: Race starts at 9:30 a.m.
• Location: 330 Powell Ave, Newburgh, NY, on Mount Saint Mary College Campus
• Registration: $25 for 5K pre-registrants, $30 same day registration

Race Details

• Route: Beautiful scenic route with overlooks of the Hudson Valley and river views
• Course: Starts on the track around the baseball field and loops around the campus
• T-Shirts: Available to the first 100 pre-registered 5K entrants
• Early Bib Pickup: Saturday, Sept 19th, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Bishop Dunn Memorial School

Race Day Information

• Bib Pickup: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
• Announcements: National Anthem at 9:25 a.m.
• Awards: Ceremony at 10:45 a.m.
• For Beginners: If new to racing, it's best to register as a runner

Mini Cupcake Race

• Details: 1/4 mile FUN RUN for kids 10 and under starting at 9 a.m.
• Cost: $10 for Mini Cupcake registrants, pre-registration ends 9/18/2025
• Track: Takes place on the track around the baseball field
• T-Shirts: Free for the first 40 pre-registered fun run participants

Additional Information

• Refreshments: Provided by local businesses, including plenty of cupcakes
• Purpose: Support scholarships for BDMS students
