Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Event Overview

Join GCXC Racing for the fourth annual Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.

Race Location

• Course: All three courses run on the paved Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail and begin and finish at the Leetonia Trailhead.
• Directions: If you GPS One Saint Peter Street, Leetonia, Ohio 44431 you will be able to see where the trail starts.
• Parking: No parking at the trailhead on race day.

Race Schedule

• Half Marathon: Begins at 8:00am with a 3-hour time limit.
• 10K & 5K: Both begin at 8:15am.
• Chip Timing: All distances are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

Water Stops

• 5K: Water Stop at 1.5 miles.
• 10K: Water Stops at 1.5 miles and 4.5 miles.
• Half Marathon: Water Stops at 1.5, 3.3, 4.9, 6.5, 8.3, 9.8, and 11.6 miles.
• Energy Gel: Honey Stinger Energy Gel will be available on course.

Awards and Finisher Gear

• Finisher Medals: Unique finisher medals and custom long sleeve shirts are guaranteed to those registered by September 4th. Optional hoodies also available.
• Custom Mugs: For overall and age group winners of all distances: awards presented as participants finish.

Transportation and Parking

• Parking Location: Participants will park at Leetonia High School, 450 Walnut Street, Leetonia, Ohio 44431.
• Bus Service: Buses available from 6:45am-7:40am to take participants to the trailhead.
• Return Bussing: Available to transport participants back to the high school after the race, through 11:30am.
• Spectator Parking: Family/spectators can also park at Leetonia High School and will be bussed to the start line: no parking at the start line.

Pre-Race Information

• Packet Pick-up: Takes place at Leetonia High School from 6:30am-7:30am.
• Restrooms: Available at the Leetonia trailhead.
• Bag Check: Tags handed out at registration: tag your bag and self-check it in at the gazebo at the start/finish.
• Refreshments: Snacks and refreshments will be available at the finish line.
