Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Event Overview

Join GCXC Racing for the fourth annual Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.

Course Information

• Location: All three courses run on the paved Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail and begin and finish at the Leetonia Trailhead.
• GPS Details: If you GPS One St. Peter Street, Leetonia, Ohio 44431 you will be able to see where the trail starts.
• Parking Reminder: As a reminder, no parking at the trailhead on race day.

Start Times

• Half Marathon: Begins at 8:00am with a 3-hour time limit.
• 10K & 5K: Begin at 8:15am.

Timing and Support

• Chip Timing: All distances are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.
• Water Stops: 5K Water Stop (1.5 miles): 10K Water Stops (1.5 miles, 4.5 miles): Half Marathon Water Stops (1.5, 3.3, 4.9, 6.5, 8.3, 9.8, and 11.6 miles).
• Energy Supplies: Honey Stinger Energy Gel will be available on course.

Finisher Rewards

• Medals and Shirts: Unique finisher medals and custom long sleeve shirts only guaranteed to those participants registered by September 4th.
• Optional Attire: Optional hoodies also available.
• Awards: Custom mugs for overall and age group winners of all distances.
• Awards Presentation: Awards will be presented as participants finish.

Transportation and Parking

• Parking Location: Participants will park at Leetonia High School and be bussed to the trailhead for the start of the race.
• Bus Schedule: Busses are available from 6:45am-7:40am: the bus ride from the high school to the trail head is five minutes.
• Post-Race Bussing: Bussing will be available to take participants back to the high school after the race through 11:30am.
• Family Parking: Family/Spectators can also park at Leetonia High School and will be bussed to the start line.

Event Logistics

• Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up will take place at Leetonia High School from 6:30am-7:30am.
• Facilities: Restrooms available at the Leetonia trailhead.
• Bag Check: Bag check tags will be handed out at registration.
• Refreshments: Refreshments and snacks are available at the finish line.
