GIVE HOPE 5K - STRIDES TO END HOMELESSNESS

Event Overview

The Give Hope 5K will take place at the beautiful Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. This is a family-friendly event aimed at raising funds and awareness for the homeless and the hungry in our community one stride at a time! All proceeds will benefit the homeless and food insecure communities.

• Date: August 1, 2026
• Location: Frank Liske Park - Homebuilders Shelter, Concord, NC
• Time: Packet pick up from 8:15am-8:45am
• Refreshments: Light refreshments and water provided

Race Day Schedule

• 8:15am: Race Packet Pickup/Check-In, Sponsor Expo
• 8:45am: Pre-Race Welcome & Group Stretching
• 9:00am: Race begins
• 10:30am: Post Race Awards Ceremony, Raffle Giveaway, Sponsor Expo, Light Refreshments

Awards and Prizes

After the 5K, we will have medals presented to the Overall Male and Female Top performers (1st place). Top Performers Male and Female (1st, 2nd & 3rd place) in age groups 14-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+. We will have prizes for the Top 3 Kids Fun Run winners. We will announce the raffle prize winners, photo opportunities and more!

Additional Information

• Refund Policy: There are NO refunds for this race.
• Registration Deadline: We can only guarantee t-shirts for participants who register by July 24th.
• Group Discounts: Group discounts are available to groups of 10 or more. For group registration information, please email souljournersministries@gmail.com.
• Raffle Tickets: Donate a total of 5 toiletry or non-perishable items or donate $5 to receive one raffle ticket.
