GIVE HOPE 5K - STRIDES TO END HOMELESSNESS

Event Overview

The Give Hope 5K will take place at the beautiful Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. This is a family-friendly event aimed at raising funds and awareness for the homeless and the hungry in our community one stride at a time! All proceeds will benefit the homeless and food insecure communities.

Race Details

• Date: August 1, 2026
• Time: Race begins at 9:00am
• Weather: The 5K will occur rain or shine.
• Packet Pickup: 8:15am-8:45am

Post-Race Activities

After the 5K we will have medals presented to the Overall Male and Female Top performers (1st place). Top Performers Male and Female (1st, 2nd & 3rd place) in age groups 14-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+. We will have prizes for the Top 3 Kids Fun Run winners. We will announce the raffle prize winners, photo opportunities and more!

Schedule of Events

• 8:15am: Race Packet Pickup/Check-In, Sponsor Expo
• 8:45am: Pre-Race Welcome & Group Stretching
• 9:00am: Race begins
• 10:30am: Post Race Awards Ceremony, Raffle Giveaway, Sponsor Expo, Light Refreshments

Important Information

• Refunds: There are NO refunds for this race.
• Changes: Race organizers reserve the right to modify, change, cancel, or reschedule the race as necessary.
• T-shirts: We can only guarantee t-shirts for participants who register by July 24th.
• Sponsorship: Different levels of sponsorship available. Sign up as a sponsor here.

• GIVE JOY: $250 - company logo on event t-shirt
• GIVE LOVE: $500 - company logo on event t-shirt and event banner, promo item in swag bag

• GIVE PEACE: $1000 - company logo on event t-shirt, event banner, our website & social media, promo item in swag bag, company announced at the beginning of the event, table space (based on availability)

Group Discounts

Event Day Raffle

Donate a total of 5 toiletry or non-perishable items and receive one raffle ticket. Or donate $5 via cash, Zelle, Cashapp or Venmo and receive one raffle ticket.
