Lake Winnebago 4th of July 5K and Kids Fun Run

Race Overview

• Organizer: Beta Sigma Phi (Alpha Beta chapter) is excited to host the annual 5K and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run in connection with the upcoming 4th of July festivities!
• Event Type: This race is an un-chipped event.
• Registration Fees: $25 per adult. $20 per child 12 and under.
• T-Shirt Deadline: Registration for the race includes a t-shirt if registered before June 8th.

Pick Up Information

• Date and Time: T-shirt and bib pick up at the AYC is July 2nd from 5-8pm.
• Race Day Option: Shirts can also be picked up the morning of July 4 at the race.

Race Day Details

• Date: July 4th, 2026
• Time: Registration begins at 6:45 am: Kids 1-mile Fun Run starts at 7:30 am.
• Age Groups: 9 & under age group first, 10-12 age group next.
• Following Event: The 5K will immediately follow the Kids 1-mile Fun Run.

Community Impact

• Organizers: Beta Sigma Phi (Alpha Beta chapter) is dedicated to making lasting and meaningful impacts in our local community.
• Donations: Last year, over $7,000 was donated to local families in need, as well as charities such as HorsePower Experiential Learning Program (HELP), Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care (KCH), and Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF).
• Funding Sources: These donations were made possible through race entries, t-shirt sales, sponsorships, and donations.
